RETROFITTING OF AIRCON CONTROLLER FOR SERVER ROOMS IN COMPUTER CENTER(22.5 T CAPACITY)
Reports of retrofitting the controller A5-G 313 PR-01 in the server room of computer center of IITM, Chennai
Three numbers of 7.5 tr carrier make (model no. 38 LH-09/OT) were retrofitted with the above controller. The temperature of the server room was set at 20 °C and the cooling range of 3°C. Loading and unloading of the CMPS were observed and was excellent .
Performance of the server room was monitored using data logger (Model no. A9-G 108) and temperature was maintaining between 19 to 23°C while loading / unloading the compressors and saving energy. An auto/ manual module is also fitted to rake care of emergency condition.
The unit is working successfully since 10th December, 2004.
